The short answer

Some of the largest and longest-running companies helping businesses with merchant cash advance debt are Corporate Turnaround (since 1998), Rise Alliance and its parent Second Wind Consultants (since 2009), Delancey Street, Coastal Debt Resolve, National Credit Partners, Value Capital Funding, ClearBizDebt, Business Debt Ninjas and Creditors Relief. They differ in fees, minimum debt, attorney involvement and whether they restructure, settle or refinance, so compare them on those points rather than on advertised savings.

Questions to ask any MCA debt relief company

  1. Who will actually do the work? A debt relief company, a law firm, a lender or a referral company? Get the legal name and address.
  2. What are the fees, and when are they charged? Get the fee, its timing and cancellation terms in writing.
  3. Restructuring, settlement or a new loan? Ask which they recommend for your case and why. See all five options.
  4. Who handles lawsuits, liens and personal guarantees? If attorneys are involved, who pays them?
  5. What happens to taxes on forgiven debt? A responsible company tells you to ask a CPA.
  6. How are lien releases handled? Ask for UCC terminations and written releases once each funder is paid.

Walk away if a company

  • Guarantees a specific settlement percentage before reading your agreements
  • Charges large fees before any funder agrees to anything
  • Tells you to stop paying every funder and change banks without explaining the risk
  • Pushes a new advance as "consolidation" without explaining reverse consolidation
  • Will not give you its legal business name, address or written terms

BBB ratings are a useful signal, not a guarantee. Read the complaints themselves, and remember a young company may simply not be rated yet.

Method

We included companies that focus on merchant cash advance and business debt relief, operate nationally and publish enough information to compare. Our rating is an editorial assessment of experience, range of services, transparency about fees and process, and BBB record. We checked each company's website and BBB profile on October 21, 2026; figures described as "reports" or "shows" are the company's own claims. As noted in our advertiser disclosure, compensation may affect where companies appear. We will correct anything that is out of date: contact us.

Educational content. Business Debt Relief Pros is a marketing and lead generation company, not a lender, law firm, debt settlement company or financial advisor. Examples are hypothetical and rounded. Outcomes depend on your agreements, funders, cash flow and timing, and are not guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best MCA debt relief company?

It depends on your situation. Compare fees, minimum debt, whether the company restructures, settles or refinances, how attorneys are involved, and its BBB record. A free review can match you with a company that fits your debt and your funders.

Are MCA debt relief companies legitimate?

Many are. Check the legal business name, BBB profile and complaints, get fees and terms in writing, and avoid any company that guarantees results before reviewing your agreements.

How much do MCA debt relief companies charge?

Fees vary by company and program and are often a percentage of enrolled debt or of the savings. Some build fees into the new payment. Get the fee and its timing in writing before you sign.

Is Business Debt Relief Pros a debt relief company?

No. We are a marketing and lead generation company that connects business owners with independent specialists, including some of the companies on this page.

Do I need a lawyer for MCA debt?

Not always. If you have been sued, a judgment or confession of judgment has been filed, or your account has been frozen, talk to a licensed attorney.
